When I got up this morning I had no idea that the events of the day would change how I live the rest o my life. My husband Jim had a massive heart attack and died. Nothing can prepare you for the realization that the person who was a integral part of your life has gone and you will have to continue on without him.

With the help and support of family and friends, I have come through the past three weeks. Have returned to work to get some normalcy into my life and as Jim would have wanted has decided to continue on the vacation that we had planned. Donna our niece is now going to make the journey with me. I think that she is taking pity on the people of Australia, knowing that I do not have much experience driving a vehicle with a manual transmission . The specter of me leapfrogging through the streets of Sydney, may be humorous but in reality is very scary. Having said that I am very lucky that she is able to join me.
Have check all my lists and have every thing ready. Going to try and travel light, but the rocks that I am taking weight about ten pounds.
That is all for now , next post from Vancouver, on stop over before we leave. Will post photos of the twins , they will be one year old and are keeping their parents busy.
